The event will take place from 7:00-8:30pm at the Baraboo First Church of the Nazarene at 1800 Crawford St. on the north side of Baraboo. \nGuest speakers for the evening are Rhea Newman\, CSW\, of Catholic Charities of Wisconsin\, talking about “The Option of Adoption\,” and Bill & Tammy Johnson of Baraboo speaking about “The Ups and Downs of Being a Foster Parent.” \nRhea Newman\, CSW\, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Viterbo University and is a Certified Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin. They also have three adult birth children. Bill & Tammy will share their amazing story from their decision to begin treatment foster care\, to taking in six foster children (ages 1-5) in 2-1/2 years\, to eventual adoption of all of them. Bill summarizes their experience as foster care parents as\, “It has not been easy\, but it has been good.” \nFollowing the presentations by the speakers\, there will be a short Q&A time so attendees can get more information on these topics. The evening will end with a short awards presentation. This is a free community event with coffee and dessert being served. \nIf you plan to attend\, please RSVP to Richard Braun 608-495-6117 or richbraun70@gmail.com to assist the planners of this event.
