VIRTUAL Education Fund Dinner & Auction Re-Cap and Unique Giving Opportunity
On May 14, we hosted our first-ever VIRTUAL Education Fund Dinner & Auction with a night of truths and life-saving information.
We enjoyed being able to welcome our friends from around the state! Even though we missed seeing everyone in person, it was a wonderful way to continue our mission of protecting the most vulnerable members of our society.
The night included messages from former Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos-Duffy; a musical performance by Christian Contemporary Music artist, Matthew West; our Emcee, Brian Schimming; our Executive Director, Heather Weininger; and our keynote speaker, Sean Spicer.
Most importantly the evening highlighted the life-saving work of our Education Fund.
Our work includes:
- Life on Campus groups are on the frontlines of sharing truth about life on college campuses. They were able to host speakers on campus, work with pregnancy centers, work with women at homeless shelters, and expand their influence with peers on campus who were struggling with unplanned pregnancies.
- Our Summer Life Camp is an unmatched opportunity for teens to learn pro-life principles, grow their debate skills, express their pro-life values in a compassionate manner, and have a ton of fun!
- Our efforts to educate elected officials and the public on legislation. We continue to work with our elected officials in Madison to enact new laws and fight against courtroom challenges that will overturn our existing protective, pro-life laws.
- Our emergency grant program allows us to help a mom in an unplanned pregnancy remove financial barriers to saying yes to life. Over the last few months, the requests for emergency grants have increased. This is something we expected with the COVID-19 pandemic and we never want to say no to any woman or baby.
