Teens Speak Out for Life through Teen Impact Writing Contest

The results are in! We’re pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 Teen Impact Writing Contest. We received submissions from teens across the state who used their unique voices to stand for life and speak out against abortion, euthanasia, and unethical fetal stem cell use.

While we had many wonderful submissions, our judges chose three winners in both the Informative Writing category and the Creative Writing category (new this year!). All winners received free admission to Teen Impact Summer Camp and the WRTL State Conference, as well as cash prizes. Read the winning essays below!

Informative Writing
1st Place – Pro-Life Project by Evolet
2nd Place – Choose Life by Jaime
3rd Place – Fighting for the Unborn by Cailyn

Creative Writing
1st Place – The Power of Silence by Desiree
2nd Place – The Not So Little Missing Piece by Lillian
3rd Place – Walking Miracle by Andrea

Teenagers are on the front lines of the abortion crisis. When a young girl faces an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy, she will most likely turn to her peers for advice and support before she reaches out to her parents or teachers. Equipping teens to support their peers with life-saving encouragement is key to turning the tide against abortion.

After reading all of the essay submissions, we are confident that our state is full of passionate young men and women that will continue to reach their friends with the truth.
