Planned Parenthood Demands Taxpayer Dollars…Again.

"Yesterday, Planned Parenthood demanded $1.8 million from the taxpayers of Wisconsin,” stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life.

This exorbitant bill is apparently for attorney’s fees as they fought against the admitting privileges portion of Sonya’s Law, Act 37, which was made law in 2014. Planned Parenthood Federation of America, one of the plaintiffs in the case, received over $500 million taxpayer dollars in 2013-2014. This year, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin fought tooth and nail to try to keep $8 million of taxpayer funding by opposing Act 151 and Act 152. Their attorneys, who defended their agenda to keep the abortion industry unchecked, were paid anywhere from $450 to $600 an hour.

“Once again, Planned Parenthood wishes to feed off the taxpayer trough in order to push their pro-abortion agenda in Wisconsin,” continued Weininger. “Their repeated demands for taxpayer funds is an affront to anyone who doesn’t want their taxpayer dollars tied up in their business – the dismemberment of unborn children.”
