47 Years Later

“Today, we mourn the loss of more than 60 million unborn children because of abortion,” shared Heather Weininger, executive director of Wisconsin Right to Life.

“All of these unheard voices, they are the reason we continue fighting for protection of the unborn forty-seven years later.

“In recent times we have seen how far those who profit from the death of our children in the womb are willing to go. To say that a child born from a failed abortion attempt doesn’t deserve the same healthcare treatment as a child born at that same gestational age is supporting infanticide. Trying to silence those who expose the truth about Planned Parenthood and the selling of aborted baby body parts for research, this has gone even further than we could have imagined.

“While the fateful Roe v. Wade decision was made prior to my birth, I look around and think of all the siblings, friends, classmates of my children who simply are missing from our world because they were killed in the womb.

“Our work to protect the unborn will not stop until all children are protected, women are told the truth about abortion, and we all support those who choose life.”

Wisconsin Right to Life is the state’s oldest and largest pro-life organization serving to protect the most vulnerable in our state since 1968. Our efforts this year will focus on Kill the lies, Not the Child.
