Wisconsin Right to Life Applauds Trump for Planned Parenthood Funding Freeze

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Trump Administration plans to freeze $20 million in Title X funding to Planned Parenthood.

“We are thankful that President Trump and his team continue to look for ways to cut funding to the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood,” stated Heather Weininger, Wisconsin Right to Life’s Executive Director.

According to Planned Parenthood’s annual report, the organization is responsible for providing 392,715 abortions, about 39% of the national total, and took in more than $2 billion in revenues.

“Abortion is not health care,” continued Weininger, “and our tax dollars should not go to organizations that profit from abortion.”
