Possible Obama VP Pick, Sebelius, Courts Trouble

Mentioned as a possible VP pick for Obama, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius is attracting a lot of unwelcome attention for her pro-abortion views. It’s hard to describe one abortionist as more notorious than another, but if there were a contest, Wichita abortionist George Tiller would win handily. Tiller is well known as the killer of last resort for anyone who wants the latest of late-term abortions.

Nationally syndicated columnist Bob Novak, commenting that Sebelius’ abortion views would match Obama’s, also reported that Sebelius hosted a party at the Governor’s mansion for none other than George Tiller and his abortion clinic staff. The soiree was in April of 2007 at a time when Tiller was under investigation by the attorney general’s office.

Sebelius followed this event up by celebrating her birthday in May of 2007 at a fest sponsored by Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri at a time when this business was also under investigation from the state attorney general.

Sebelius, a Catholic, has been asked by her bishop to repudiate her pro-abortion views and that she be denied communion.

Hmmmm. Is she still on Obama’s short list? Just what he needs — another church and abortion scandal.
