Coming to a City Near You … Planned Parenthood’s Campaign of Lies

For several months, Planned Parenthood and their cohorts in the radical pro-abortion movement have been waging a campaign of lies against right-to-life Assembly Representatives Jim Ott (R-Mequon), Karl Van Roy (R-Green Bay), Mark Honadel (R-South Milwaukee) and Mike Huebsch (R-West Salem).

Planned Parenthood has used radio ads, website ads and flyers mailed to constituents of the four legislators to falsely accuse them of supporting legislation that would result in Wisconsin women being imprisoned for having abortions. While the attacks have temporarily subsided, they will be back with increased vigor and addition right-to-life legislators will be targeted as the 2008 elections approach.

The truth is, no woman in Wisconsin will ever go to prison or face any penalty whatsoever for having an abortion in this state. And Planned Parenthood knows that.

What this is all about, of course, is trying to bloody up right-to-life lawmakers in anticipation of the elections. Whether it is done with blatant lies is of no concern to Planned Parenthood and their allies. Getting a pro-abortion majority in the State Assembly, at any cost, is their goal.

Which brings me to the importance of being an informed right-to-life voter. If you depend on the media for this kind of information … well, it’s an exercise in futility. The Wisconsin Right to Life website (WisconsinRightToLife.org) is the place to obtain the most comprehensive, accurate right-to-life candidate information in the state. Invaluable information about the presidential, congressional and state legislative races will be posted on our site by late July … in plenty of time for the September primary election. November general election information will be posted the day after the primary election. You can’t get information any faster than that!
