Two More Maternal Deaths Reported from Abortion Pill

On the heels of the 10th anniversary of FDA approval of the RU 486 abortion pill, the Centers for Disease Control reports that two more women have died from taking the drug. What commonly happens is that some women develop a major infection after taking RU 486 which then takes their lives. The total number of reported deaths in the U.S. is now eight. Many others have died in other countries.

Early death reports included four California women who all died within a week of using RU 486 received at one of Planned Parenthood’s abortion business.

Imagine the uproar if these maternal deaths had been from presumably “illegal” abortions — the stories would be covered as front page news. The eight women who died were unfortunate enough to fall victim to the coverup of harm or injury to the mother from legal abortions. The FDA response? Report the deaths and continue to allow the pill to be used. A true tragedy for mothers and babies.
