4 Reasons Why Romney Debate Win Should Energize Right-to-Lifers

The verdict is in and virtually everyone but the Obama mouthpieces know that Governor Mitt Romney scored a sweeping smack-down in last night’s debate. Here are the four reasons why right-to-lifers should be energized.

1. Romney clearly and firmly promised to repeal and replace the pro-abortion, pro-rationing ObamaCare.

2. Romney directly attacked the President for raiding Medicare of $716 billion to fund ObamaCare. The President didn’t even respond to this charge, leaving the truth of this statement as spoken.

3. Romney took special aim at IPAB, the horrendous Independent Payment Advisory Board set up by ObamaCare consisting of 15 unelected members who will decide what part of your lifesaving health care the government will deny. Clearly, this board will be poised to ration health care, especially for older Americans. Interestingly, the President defended IPAB, trying to make it sound like a fair and sympathetic group who will just work to hold down costs.

4. Romney promoted respect for life and religious liberty. Romney said: “The role of government: Look behind us. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The role of government is to promote and protect the principles of those documents. First, life and liberty. We have a responsibility to protect the lives and liberties of our people.. ..Second, in that line that says we are endowed by our creator with our rights, I believe we must maintain our commitment to religious tolerance and freedom in this country….”
