Can the Defenders of Planned Parenthood Give Us Answers?

"Today an eye-opening video was released where Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admits that Planned Parenthood sells aborted fetal body parts and performs partial-birth abortions," stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life. "The shocking revelations in this video beg answers from the defenders of Planned Parenthood." 

In the video, Dr. Nucatola explains what is done to harvest the most intact body parts of the unborn baby – a partial-birth abortion: 

"….with the calvarium [head], in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation [of the fetus] so that it’s not vertex [head first]…So if you do it starting from the breech [feet first] presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium [head] at the end."

"Supported by Planned Parenthood, former U.S. Senator Russ Feingold, then-Representative Tammy Baldwin, and Representative Ron Kind were all staunch defenders of the partial-birth abortion procedure when the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban was being considered by Congress," continued Weininger. "We need answers from Feingold, Baldwin, and Kind. Will they decry Planned Parenthood’s current actions? Were they aware back when they defended partial-birth abortion that such a procedure could help in the sale of unborn babies’ organs? And will they make clear what their intentions were when they voted against the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban?"
