Wisconsin Right to Life Responds to the Acts of Violence Against the Pro-Life Movement in Wisconsin

In the days following the Supreme Court draft opinion leak, the pro-life movement in Wisconsin and nationwide has grappled with a surge in violence, including an attack on Wisconsin Family Action, and ongoing threats targeted at the entire pro-life cause in the state.

Legislative Director, Gracie Skogman stated, “While we are concerned, it reminds us of the urgency of the pro-life cause. We are advocating for the rights of the most vulnerable in our society, and acts of violence from the opposing side will not deter us.”

Additionally, Gracie Skogman spoke with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night’s “The Ingraham Angle”  in response to the recent acts of violence: “This is not only an attack on Wisconsin Family Action, this is an attack on the entire pro-life movement. Not only in Wisconsin, but nationwide.” She also urged the pro-life movement to unify, “making it crystal clear that the pro-life movement is pro women, pro babies, and pro-life.”

Wisconsin Right to Life will continue our mission to defend all human life, both of preborn children and mothers facing unexpected or challenging pregnancies. Even in the face of violence, we will continue to peacefully advocate on their behalf.
