Romney Makes Big Gains in Polls Nationally and in Wisconsin

The Gallup daily tracking poll of likely voters, just released today, now has Romney with a 7 point lead, 52% to 45%, over President Obama!. This daily poll includes one day of results following Tuesday night’s debate. Romney is now leading among key voter groups and gaining ground in key battleground states while support for Obama is down since 2008 among men, college graduates, Southern voters, Catholics, Protestants, Whites, 39-49 year olds and those 50 and older.

The Marquette University law school released its latest Wisconsin results yesterday which gives President Obama a 1 point lead over Romney, 49% to 48%. This poll data is critically important since Obama led Romney by 11 points in the Marquette poll just two weeks ago. This shows a huge swing towards Romney.
