Tim Kaine and Hillary Clinton: Extreme on Abortion

"Senator Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential pick, without a doubt supports abortion-on-demand just as much as the presumptive Democratic nominee,” stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life. “While Tim Kaine may claim to be moderate on abortion, his record makes clear his pro-abortion stance.”

Here are some of the highlights of Tim Kaine’s pro-abortion career:

• Voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which protects unborn babies from excruciating pain during dismemberment or other later-term abortion methods.
• Voted every chance he got to allow government funding for abortion providers.
• Voted against legislation that would require an abortionist to notify at least one parent before performing an abortion on a minor girl from another state.
• Co-sponsored the extreme “Women’s Health Protection Act” (s. 217), known to pro-lifers as the “Abortion Without Limits Until Birth Act” which would nullify nearly every state and federal law to protect the unborn, and prevent protective laws from being enacted in the future.
