Wisconsin Right to Life Responds to Spring Election Results

Wisconsin Right to Life congratulates Dan Knodl on his successful campaign for the Wisconsin Senate District 8 seat. Senator-elect Knodl has been a longtime defender of life in his State Assembly role, and we are confident that he will continue to advocate for women and their preborn children in his new position.  

After election results were in, Gracie Skogman, Wisconsin Right to Life’s legislative/PAC director, stated, “We are disappointed and truly troubled about the election of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz, who made her support of abortion front and center during her campaign. Although she has shown herself time and time again to be the opposite of an impartial jurist, we call on her to keep her personal values and opinions out of the courtroom and refrain from legislating from the bench.” 

Skogman continued, “No matter the results of elections, our work continues. We continue to celebrate the lives being saved daily by our current pro-life law, and we will continue to advocate for innocent human lives and provide comprehensive and compassionate support to women.”
